đź’š Mindful Mondays - You Can Be Grateful and Still Be Tired

This Week’s Focus: You Can Be Grateful and Still Be Tired

Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening—depending on what time you’re reading this. Welcome to another Mindful Monday!

Lately, I’ve been kinda down and feeling like I’ve gotten ahead of myself. And I started wondering, why am I feeling so sad and unmotivated when I’m literally living in some of my answered prayers?

I think something a lot of us fail to realize is that it’s not always about what we have or the opportunities that come our way. Sometimes, it’s about what’s happening on the inside.

Sometimes it’s not that your life is unprepared. It’s your mind.

You can have good things happening and still have bad days. You can be grateful for your life and still feel overwhelmed. You can be living in something you prayed for and still not feel like yourself.

And sometimes I think we make ourselves feel even worse because we feel like we don’t have a reason to be sad. We start comparing our feelings to our circumstances instead of actually asking ourselves what’s wrong.

Maybe you’re tired. Maybe you’re overwhelmed. Maybe you’ve been doing too much and haven’t given yourself time to slow down. Or maybe you don’t even know what it is yet—and that’s okay too.

I think that’s why checking in with yourself is so important. Not just asking, “Am I okay?” but actually taking the time to sit with yourself and be honest about how you feel.

You don’t have to feel guilty for needing a moment. You don’t have to minimize what you’re feeling just because life looks good from the outside.

Sometimes the blessing is learning how to take care of the person who prayed for it in the first place.

Until next Monday, remember:

You are loved.

You are cared for.

You belong here.

With love,
